Crime Report: 2 Arrested for Driving While Drinking

There were three incidents of graffiti in the City of Falls Church last week, according to the latest crime report, with a utility box and traffic sign tagged on Thursday, Sept. 18 and a building marked at Eden Center on Friday, Sept. 19. In other crime news, two people were arrested for not only DUIs but also driving while drinking as a 62-year old McLean man was nabbed on Great Falls and a 54-year old female was arrested on Annandale Road.

City of Falls Church Crime Report: September 15 – 21, 2014

Larceny from Vehicle, 800 block Villa Ridge On Sep. 15, personal items were reported stolen from a parked vehicle.

Driving Under the Influence, Drinking While Driving, and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 400 block Great Falls St. On Sep. 17, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 62, of McLean, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Drinking While Driving, and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Graffiti, 100 block Pennsylvania Ave. On Sep. 18, graffiti were found on a utility box.

Graffiti, 800 block Park Ave. On Sep. 18, graffiti were found on a traffic sign.

Driving Under the Influence, Drinking While Driving, 500 block W Annandale Rd. On Sep.  19, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 54, of Fairfax, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Drinking While Driving.

Graffiti, 6751 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Sep. 19, graffiti were found on the building.

Public Drunkenness, 513 W. Broad St. (The Byron) On Sep. 21, a male, 35, no known address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Simple Assault, 6795 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Sep. 11, police responded to the area for a report of an assault. After an investigation, a male, 40, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested for Simple Assault.
