Crime Report: Man Arrested After Pulling Knife on Victim Last Tuesday

A man was arrested for attempted malicious wounding after pulling a knife and running towards a person in the 200 block of E. Fairfax St. in Falls Church last Tuesday, Sep. 9. No injuries were reported, police say, and that it was an isolated incident. The suspect, a 40 year-old man of the City of Falls Church, is currently being held at Arlington County Detention Center.

In other crime report news, a bicycle was stolen from a residence on Great Falls St., liquor was stolen from the ABC Store on W. Broad and a 34-year old man was arrested for urinating in public at Lesly’s Restaurant.

City of Falls Church Crime Report: September 8 – 14, 2014

Attempted Malicious Wounding, 200 block E. Fairfax St. On Sep. 9, a male, 40, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for three counts of Attempted Malicious Wounding after
police received a report of an altercation.

Underage Possession of Alcohol, On Sep. 11, a 17 year old female juvenile was arrested and released on summons for Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Larceny from Building, 200 block Great Falls St. On Sep. 12, a bicycle was reported stolen from a residence.

Larceny from Building, 1212 W. Broad St. (Virginia ABC Store) On Sep. 13, police receive a report that liquor was stolen from the store.

Urinating In Public, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Sep. 13, a male, 34, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Urinating In Public.

Trespass, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Sep. 14, a male, 39, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.
