Shepherd’s Center Seeks Volunteer Drivers for Seniors

The Shepherd’s Center of McLean-Arlington-Falls Church is looking for additional volunteers to drive senior citizens to medical and therapy appointments and occasionally to the pharmacy and grocery store.

The group had a backlog of 25 seniors requesting its services who are now being entered in the organization’s system because they were unable to find enough volunteers.

As the need grows, the Shepherd’s Center continues to search for additional volunteer drivers. The organization does not require a long-term commitment, and volunteers can choose their own schedules.

To find out more about the Shepherd’s Center and volunteer opportunities, call 703-506-2199 or e-mail info@scmafc.org.
