Virginia ABC Opens 350th Location in Tysons Corner

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) hosted a grand opening for their 350th store last Wednesday, Sept. 10, in Tysons Corner, which was attended by notable Virginia politicians and public officials.

The store, located at 8150 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, will carry mainly category-leading signature spirits in only the 750-milliliter size.

The store also has more than 45 special order items on the shelves, including the Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac and The Macallan 25-Year Scotch, each of which sells for more than $1,000.

According to a press release from Virginia ABC, they purposefully tailored the inventory of the store to “match the needs of discerning customers and upscale licensees in the Tysons Corner area.”

Among those who attended the grand opening and ribbon-cutting were Virginia Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security Brian Moran, Sen. Janet Howell (D-Reston), Del. Marcus Simon (D-Falls Church) and Del. Mark Keam (D-Vienna).

The store, which employs six people, will be open from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday – Saturday and 1 – 6 p.m. on Sunday.
