Piglets, chickens, goats and guinea pigs are a few of the many farm animals children will be able to see and/or touch at the McLean Community Center’s annual Harvest Happenings festival on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the McLean Community Center, which is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean. General admission is $5 at the door and admission is free for children up to 36 months old.
Squeals on Wheels, an award-winning miniature animal petting zoo, will be featured at the festival. The Amazing Kevin, a popular local magician, and Kidsinger Jim, a children’s entertainer who plays guitar, will be taking the stage.
Other activities will include carnival games and arts and crafts projects. Small pumpkins will also be available for decoration and purchase.
