BalletNova Center for Dance is hosting a grand opening and dedication ceremony for the Fredgren Studio Theater on Sunday, September 21 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (by invitation only) at the BalletNova studios (3443 Carlin Springs Road, Falls Church).
The Fredgren Studio Theater is a black box-style theater designed for dance, the only one-of-its-kind available to the public in Northern Virginia. It features a sprung wooden floor with non-slip Marley overlay, a large performing area of 48’ x 38’, an intimate 150-seat audience area, a fully equipped professional sound and lighting system and free, plentiful parking. After the ribbon cutting ceremony guests will be treated to performances by BalletNova dancers and local performers.
