Pimmit Hills Day to Feature Family Fun, Town Hall

The 64th annual Pimmit Hills Day celebration is slated for next Saturday, Sept. 13, according to Greg Melencio, president of the Pimmit Hills Citizens Association.

There will be family-oriented activities, like a moonbounce, bingo, cakewalks, face-painting, an obstacle course and a raffle, but there will also be a town hall.

Melencio said that he is expecting a few special guests at the town hall meeting – Friends of the Tysons-Pimmit Hills Regional Library, a spokesperson from the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and Dranesville district supervisor John Foust, the democratic candidate for the U.S. Congress in Virginia’s 10th congressional district.

There will also be several vendors, including the Lion’s Club, Ledo’s Pizza, Sport and Health and Weichert Realtors, at the event to provide food and drink and goods and services.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., with the town hall from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., at Olney Park, which is located at 1840 Olney Road, Falls Church. For more information, visit pimmithills.org.
