Affordable Housing Lottery Aug. 19

The City of Falls Church’s Housing and Human Services office will hold a public lottery for an affordable dwelling unit in the Pearson Square, 400 S. Maple St., on Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Dogwood Room at City Hall, 300 Park Avenue. The rental is a two-bedroom unit with a $1,288 monthly rate plus utilities.

Applications are due by Monday, Aug. 18, at the Human Services office at City Hall. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent legal registry, total household liquid assets under $40,000, a minimum credit score of 620, and a total household income between 50 and 80 percent of the area median income (at 50 percent, $42,800 for two persons, $48,150 for three persons, $53,500 for four persons; at 80 percent, $68,480 for two persons, $67,040 for three persons, $85,600 for four persons).
