Falls Church City Employee to Perform at Blues Alley

Andre Jackson, a City of Falls Church employee and vocalist for the band Sudden M Pac, will perform a tribute to soul and rhythm and blues singer Teddy Pendergrass on July 31, at Blues Alley in Georgetown. Pendergrass is one of Jackson’s favorite artists, according to his biography on the Sudden M Pac website, and he even sort of shared a nickname with Pendergrass when he was a kid – he used to be called “Teddy Bear.”

Jackson will be performing two shows at Blues Alley next Thursday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., and the cost is $20 for each show. Blues Alley is located at 1073 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. For more information, call 202-337-4141 or visit bluesalley.com.
