F.C. Triplets Win College Savings Accounts

Three of Falls Church’s youngest residents have a head start on their college savings thanks to a lucky birthday. For being born the closest to 5:29 p.m. on May 29 at Inova Fairfax Hospital, triplets Lucho Enrique Dodson, Ringo Frances Dodson, and Charles Henry Dodson each earned the title of 2014 “529 Day Baby.” This honor, awarded to 21 babies across Virginia, comes with a college savings account valued at $529 from the Virginia529 College Savings Plan. The babies are the sons of MaVanessa and Charles Dodson.

The initiative is part of the agency’s celebration of 529 College Savings Day on May 29. The purpose is to raise awareness about the importance of saving for higher education and starting early.
