F.C. Concert Series to Bring Summer Shows to Cherry Hill Park

The annual City of Falls Church Concerts in the Park series will again bring summer concerts to Cherry Hill Park on Thursdays at 7 p.m. from June 26 through Aug. 7.

Visitors can bring blankets and picnic dinners and enjoy free performances by local musicians. Concerts are held at Cherry Hill Park, 312 Park Ave., Falls Church, and are open to the public. In the event of rain, concerts will be held in the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St.

The 2014 lineup features the Falls Church Concert Band on June 26, the rock and alternative band Big Tow on July 3, the world jazz band Veronneau on July 10, the classic rock band MSJ Project on July 17, the roots music band  Andrew Acosta and the New Old-Time String Band on July 24, the Bob Gibson Big Band on July 31, and blues rocker Tom Principato on Aug. 7.
