Crime Report: Projectors Are Being Stolen in Falls Church

A pair of projectors were stolen last Wednesday, one from the Falls Church Community Center and another from an office on W. Broad St., according to this week’s City of F.C. Crime Report. In addition to the equipment thievery, a customer’s ring was stolen at Palm Beach Tan, items were taken from a car at Larry Graves Park, a vehicle was tampered with at Koons Auto Body and there was a noise violation on Chanel Terrace.

Also back in the Crime Report this week, a pair of smoking arrests at Eden Center.

City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for May 5 – 11, 2014

Public Drunkenness, 100 block Park Ave. On May 5, a male., 67, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Vehicle, 300 Hillwood Ave. (Larry Graves Park) On May 5, an unknown suspect broke a car window and stole several personal items.

Smoking Violation, 6787 Wilson Blvd. Suite A (Saigon Xua Restaurant) On May 5, a male, 45, of Ashburn, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Driving Under the Influence, 300 block E. Broad St. On May 6, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Building, 101 W. Broad St. On May 7, an unknown suspect stole a projector from an office.

Larceny from Building, 223 Little Falls St. (Falls Church Community Center) On May 7, an unknown suspect stole a projector from an office.

Tampering with Motor Vehicle, 430 Roosevelt Blvd. (Koons Auto Body) On May 8, police received a report that customer’s vehicles were opened sometime overnight and left in disarray.

Noise Violation, 100 block Chanel Terr. On May 9, a female, 68, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released summons for a Noise Violation.

Larceny from Building, 352 W. Broad St. (Palm Beach Tan) On May 9, police received a report that an unattended ring was stolen from a customer.

Smoking Violation, 6787 Wilson Blvd. Suite A (Saigon Xua Restaurant) On May 10, a male, 73, of Chantilly, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
