Cafe Kindred Coming to Northgate Development

Café Kindred will be opening in Northgate, the new mixed-use development at 450 N. Washington Street in the fall. Owned and operated by Gary O’Hanlon and Jennifer Demetrio, Café Kindred will offer light fare breakfast, such as scones, muffins, croissants, quiche, yogurt parfaits, and fruit salads, and lunch options such as sandwiches, salads, soups, pot pies, and meat and cheese platters, using seasonal local product when possible, along with pastries and desserts, freshly brewed coffee, tea, espresso, beer and wine.

The café will also provide live music, be child friendly, and provide delivery, catering, and classes. O’Hanlon was classically trained in Europe and has worked largely in the hotel industry for such brands as Hilton, Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton, InterContinental, and Taj hotels. Demetrio has focused on the baking and party arts and also has extensive experience in the five star and five diamond hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton, The Peninsula, and Taj hotels.

Café Kindred is expected to open in early November. Visit Café Kindred’s Facebook page for updates.
