One More Page to Celebrate Children’s Book Week

One More Page Books will be celebrating the 95th annual Children’s Book Week this week with a special story time and other activities.

As part of the national celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading, One More Page will host award-winning children’s book author Mary Quattlebaum for a special story time this Saturday, May 17, at 10:30 a.m. She’ll be reading from her latest Jo MacDonald book, “Jo MacDonald Hiked in the Woods,” and from “Pirate vs. Pirate.” This event is free and open to the public.

One More Page will also give away Children’s Book Week posters and bookmarks and Cat in the Hat crafts. Customers will receive a free tote bag with the purchase of a children’s book (while supplies last).

Children’s Book Week is administered by Every Child a Reader and sponsored by the Children’s Book Council.

One More Page Books is located at 2200 N. Westmoreland St., Arlington. For more information, visit onemorepagebooks.com.
