Tahirih Justice Center Director & Artist Displays Paintings at Art & Frame

411FIRSTfridayKristen Uhler-McKeown was a featured artist at last week’s FIRSTfriday at Art and Frame of Falls Church. She is a Falls Church artist and director of the greater Washington, D.C. and Baltimore area offices of Tahirih Justice Center, a non-governmental organization which works to protect immigrant women and girls fleeing violence. Her exhibit of paintings has recurring reference points of language, symbols, bodies, fruit, and bees. Her work will be on display at Art and Frame through the month of May.
