McLean Euphonium Player Wins $2,000 Scholarship

411choraleEuphonium player Joe Broom of McLean (front row, far left) won a $2,000 scholarship by placing second in the Williams Chorale Bacardi Fallon Performing Arts Scholarship Competition on April 26. The contest is open to high school students from across the United States. Contestants were asked to prepare a solo selection from the classical or baroque periods, and a musical piece of their choice for a panel of judges.
