The Virginia Supreme Court is set today in Richmond to hear the appeal of the May 2012 conviction by an Arlington circuit court of Falls Church Democratic political activist Michael Gardner on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of two underage girls, according to the Associated Press. Gardner is currently serving a 22 year prison sentence.
