Those looking for fancified eating this Sunday will find that 2941’s Easter special fits the bill quite nicely. Executive chef Bertrand Chemel is offering a three-course prix fixe menu available from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. including appetizers like duck ballotine (wrapped in puff pastry, haricots vert, Easter radish and mustard creme fraiche), crab cake and shrimp tempura along with main courses of lamb loin, rockfish, duck breast or vegetables.
For dessert, pastry chef Caitlin Dysart has a dessert selection including carrot cake, strawberry-rhubarb pie or a special 2941 “Easter Basket” with devil’s food cake, pistachio mousse and raspberry sherbert.

Idylwood Grill, the grill and wine bar in Pimmit Hills, will be serving up special Easter brunch, lunch and dinner menus this Sunday. For the early meal, specials include dishes like lamb chops and eggs, lamb merguez sausage, eggs benedict with Virginia ham and flounder Francaise. Those dining during the evening can feast on pistachio-crusted rack of lamb, lamb shank risotto, lemon-pepper tilapia and more.
Idylwood’s Easter Sunday brunch is from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. and dinner is from 5 – 9 p.m.

Keeping it short and sweet on Sunday, Pizzeria Orso is offering a buy one, get one free deal on their brunch pizzas, the McLovin and Big Country.
