The members of 100+ Women Who Care Northern Virginia donated $3,700 to Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center, a local nonprofit organization that provides early-childhood education to young children, regardless of their family’s economic resources. The Children’s Center, which was selected by the members of 100+ Women Who Care during the organization’s Feb. 6 meeting, received the donation last week during a check presentation ceremony at the center. The center’s teachers each year guide 75 2- to 5-year-olds to build essential skills to be conscientious and caring individuals, fully prepared to excel in kindergarten and later in life.
