F.C. Art Show & Sale to Showcase Local Talent

The City of Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department will present its annual art show and sale on Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26, featuring original artwork by art students, City residents, and employees. The event kicks off with an opening reception at City Hall, 300 Park Ave., on Friday, April 25, from 5 – 7 p.m. The show will also be open on Saturday from noon – 4 p.m. Admission is free for both days.

City residents of all ages and employees are invited to submit original artwork to the show (limited to two submissions per person). Photography, paintings (watercolor, oil, or acrylic), and drawings (pencil or pastel) of any size will be accepted. Submissions may be framed or unframed.

All artwork may be submitted to the Community Center beginning Monday, April 21, and no later than noon on Friday, April 25. Artists must include their name, phone number, and selling price (if interested in selling the artwork) on the back of each entry. Submissions from children K-12 must also include their grade and age. All entries must be picked up from the Community Center no later than 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 26.
