Crime Report: More Smoking Arrests at Eden Center

This week’s Falls Church Crime Report features two more smoking arrests along with a reported assault at Eden Center, trespassing at an office building, shoplifting at Giant and a DUI on West Broad.

City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for March 17 – 23, 2014

Trespass, 803 W. Broad St. On Mar. 17, a female, 39, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Shoplifting, 1230 W. Broad St. (Giant Foods) On Mar. 17, police received a report of shoplifting. After an investigation, police issued a warrant. The suspect, a male, 26, of Ashburn, was later arrested in Loudoun County.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 400 block W. Broad St. On Mar. 17, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 34, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Smoking Violation, 6787 Wilson Blvd. Suite A (Aigon Xua) On Mar. 19, a male, 46, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (La Mirage) On Mar. 20, a male, 20, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area. The manager, a male, 41, of Springfield, was arrested and released on summons for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Assault, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Mar. 23, police received a report that the victim was assaulted by an acquaintance.
