Community Issues Forum to Discuss F.C. Schools Budget

Community Issues Forum will be held on the Falls Church City Public Schools budget next Thursday, April 3, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. School Board Chairman Susan Kearney and School Board Member Lawrence Webb will represent the Schools, along with Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones.

City Council Budget Chair Phil Duncan will discuss the fiscal outlook for the City. Other School Board and City Council members are invited to attend and may ask questions or speak.

The meeting will be chaired by Carol Loftur-Thun of Citizens for a Sustainable City and moderated by Sally Ekfelt, a former School Board chair.

FCCTV will tape the forum and broadcast it on Channel 11 leading up to the adoption of the budget by City Council.
