Mason’s Tartt Wins NoVa Football Hall Honors

Robert E. Tartt III, a sophomore at George Mason High School, was named a youth sports player of the year at the Northern Virginia Football Hall of Fame’s annual awards banquet.

At the awards ceremony, held March 2, Tartt was recognized as a football player of the year for his participation on the James Lee Youth Sports Association’s team.

With the honor came congratulations from Congressman Gerry Connolly and recognition in the Congressional Record.

The awards ceremony honored area youth athletes, coaches, and officials, and other guests with the new Hall of Fame inductees.
