Meeting to Discuss Next 3 Years of F.C. Transportation Needs

City of Falls Church staff seek input on the community’s transportation needs over the next three years. As part of updating “Transportation 2030: Mobility for All Modes,” the transportation chapter of the Comprehensive Plan, the community is invited to a meeting this Saturday, March 15, at noon in the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St. No registration is required.

This meeting offers an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Comprehensive Plan, including why this chapter is being updated, and hear an overview of the plan draft. The transportation plan includes projects for different modes of transportation – pedestrian, bicycle, transit, and automobile.

Once finalized, the updated chapter will call for staff to complete planning efforts and deliver projects according to a prioritized schedule. A draft of the Comprehensive Plan chapter is available on the City’s website at fallschurchva.gov/Ch7.

Those unable to attend the meeting may submit comments via email to pstoddard@fallschurchva.gov.
