City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for February 24 – March 2, 2014

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 300 block S. Washington St. On Feb. 25, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 29-year-old from Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.
Public Drunkenness, 300 block E. Broad St. On Feb. 26, a 48-year-old of no fixed address was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Shoplifting, 1150 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Feb. 27, a 43-year-old from Laurel, Maryland, was arrested and released on summons for Misdemeanor Shoplifting.
Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, Public Drunkenness, and Possession of False ID, 300 block N. Washington St. On Feb. 28, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 49-year-old from Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test. One of the passengers, a 31-year-old from Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness and Possession of False ID.
Larceny from Building, 100 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Mar. 1, an unknown suspect stole fitness equipment from a patron’s locker.
Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 1000 block W. Broad St. On Mar. 1, an unknown suspect stole gift cards from the victim’s vehicle.
Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 200 block N. Maple Ave. On Mar. 2, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 33-year-old from McLean, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.
Shoplifting, 817 W. Broad St. (Looking Glass Antiques) On Mar. 2, an unknown suspect stole a vase from the premises. The suspect is described as a white female in her 60’s, approximately 5`7″ tall and 140 pounds. She had blonde shoulder length hair and corrective lenses.
