MEH Stages Singing, Dancing ‘Mulan Jr.’

401mulanPing’s real identity as Mulan is exposed in a climactic scene in “Mulan Jr.,” pictured above. The musical was performed last week by young actors at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School. The musical version of the Disney movie was performed Thursday through Saturday by about 60 cast members, who sang and danced through a condensed version of the original Mulan story. The bright costumes and set complimented the lively action on stage. Mulan was played by Cindy Lay. (Photo: Courtesy Carol Sly)
