For the sixth consecutive year, The Falls Church-Episcopal participated in the annual Walk for the Homeless this fall to benefit Shelter House. More than 75 participants of all ages from TFCE and the Falls Church Presbyterian Church took part in the mile-long walk through downtown Falls Church, raising a total of $1,460 for Shelter House.

Walkers included The Rev. John Ohmer, rector of TFCE; The Rev. Cathy Tibbetts, vicar of TFCE; and The Rev. James Sledge, pastor of FCPC.

Established in 1981, Shelter House serves homeless families, providing supportive transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, and community case management programs.
