‘Souper Bowl’ Drives Collect Food for the Hungry

Two Falls Church City Public Schools have been collecting cans of soup in a Super Bowl-themed drive to both feed the hungry and root for their favorite football teams.

The Thomas Jefferson Elementary School Student Council Association is sponsoring its annual Souper Bowl Drive through Feb. 3. Each day students can deposit cans of soup in one of two boxes, representing the Broncos and Seahawks. These boxes will be displayed in the school lobby.

For the Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School Student Council Association’s Souper Bowl, the collection boxes are in the grade-level pods.
