City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for January 13 – 19, 2014

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 300 block W. Broad St. On Jan. 13, an unknown suspect stole a book bag from a delivery truck.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Permit a Blood or Breath Test, 1200 block W. Broad St. On Jan. 14, a male, 29, of Washington, DC, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Permit a Blood or Breath Test.

Assault & Battery, Destruction of Property, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Jan. 16, a male, 33, of Standardsville, VA, was arrested for Assault & Battery, and two counts of Destruction of Property.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 200 block Gibson St. On Jan. 16, police received a report that a tire to a parked vehicle was slashed.

Larceny from Building, 150 S. Washington St. #200 (Redfin Company) On Jan. 16, police received a report of several pieces of office equipment were stolen.

Larceny from Building, 308 S. Washington St. (SmashBurger) On Jan. 17, an unknown suspect stole a purse from the store.

Driving Under the Influence, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On Jan. 18, a male, 35, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Vehicle, 200 block S. Virginia Ave. On Jan. 18, police received a report that an unknown suspect stole cash and various credit cards from an unlocked vehicle.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 100 block E. Broad St. On Jan. 19, a male, 38, of McLean, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Public Drunkenness, 500 block N. Oak St. On Jan. 19, a male, 50, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
