“Cats,” the long-running Broadway musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, will be performed this month by area high school students. The cast will include several dance and musical theater students from George C. Marshall High School.

The musical will be performed at Fairfax High School on Jan. 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. and on Jan. 26 at 2:30 p.m., with $15 tickets available at the door. A shortened version for children will be performed Jan. 25 at 2:30 p.m. for $5.
