City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for January 6 – 12, 2014

Malicious Wounding, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Jan. 6, an unknown suspect stabbed the victim during an altercation.

Public Drunkenness, 7100 block Leesburg Pike On Jan. 7, a male, 26, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Stolen Vehicle, 913 W. Broad St. (Crisp and Juicy) On Jan. 8, a blue 1997 Ford F-350 with a snow plow and sander was stolen from the parking lot.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd #2 (Café Hoang) On Jan. 8, a male, 56, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd #16 (Le Mirage) On Jan. 8, a male, 34, of Burke, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd #16 (Le Mirage) On Jan. 9, a male, 38, of Springfield, was arrested and released on summons for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On Jan. 9, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 24, of Lanham, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Shoplifting, 348 W. Broad St. (FedEx Kinko’s) On Jan. 9, an unknown suspect stole merchandise from the store.

Larceny from Building, 400 block E. Broad St. On Jan. 10, cash was reported stolen from the victim’s residence.

Underage Possession of Alcohol, and False ID to Avoid Arrest, 6619 Wilson Blvd. (New Moon Restaurant) On Jan. 11, a male, 18, of Falls Church, was arrested for Underage Possession of Alcohol and False ID to Avoid Arrest.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block S. Cherry, St. On Jan. 11, a male., 24, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Building, 450 W. Broad St. (Panera Bread) On Jan. 11, a wallet was stolen from a customer.

Shoplifting, 167 Hillwood Ave. (Virginia ABC) On Jan. 11, the store reported a bottle was stolen some time yesterday.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd #52 (Café Dang) On Jan.12, a male, 45, of Fairfax, was arrested and released on summons for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Drinking In Public, 100 block S. Washington St. On Jan. 12, a male, 46, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Drinking In Public.

Shoplifting, 804 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On Jan. 12, two unknown suspects stole two cases of beer.

Assaulting a Police Officer and Public Drunkenness, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Jan.12, a male, 33, no fixed address, was arrested for Assaulting a Police Officer and Public Drunkenness.
