City of F.C. Offices & Services to Close for Jan. Holidays

Many City of Falls Church offices and services will be closed for Lee-Jackson Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day holidays this month.

For Lee-Jackson Day this Friday, Jan. 17, Courts and the Court Clerk’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office will be closed.

For Martin Luther King Jr. Day next Monday, Jan. 20, City Hall and all government offices, Courts, the DMV Select in City Hall, Mary Riley Styles Public Library, the Permits Counter, the Senior Center, and the Sheriff’s Office will be closed.

The Community Center will operate on normal hours this Friday, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and will be open next Monday from 8:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.

A City Council work session will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 7:30 p.m., and a Planning Commission meeting will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 7:45 p.m. Both were rescheduled because of the holiday.
