Felix Chang of Falls Church won the 2013 America’s Crown Dixie Nationals Wrestling Championship in the 8-year-old 100-pound division on Dec. 29. He won all his matches via either pin or tech fall.

Earlier this season, Felix placed first in the Bantam Heavyweight division in four open tournaments: the Tuscarora Holiday Open on Nov. 23 in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania; the Vipers Mike Beck Memorial Open on Dec. 1 in Cooksville, Maryland; the Monster Mash Open on Dec. 8 in Palmyra, Pennsylvania; and the Trojan Open on Dec. 22 in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Felix wrestles in Virginia with a competitive club in Falls Church, the Falls Church Force, and in Maryland with the Buffalo Soldiers club. He has been coached by his father, Mark, since Felix was 5 years old.

This is Felix’s second time winning the Dixie Nationals and his fourth time winning a national wrestling tournament.
