State Theatre Held Up at Gunpoint Early Wednesday

Two suspects, one armed with a firearm, held up the State Theatre in Falls Church Wednesday morning, police say.

The City of Falls Church Police Department seeks information on an armed robbery that took place just before 7 a.m. at the 220 N. Washington St. theater. Police say two suspects, described as black males in their 20s, possibly younger, wearing black-hooded sweatshirts, black baseball caps and bandannas, entered the building demanding cash. One suspect had a firearm. They left the building with an undetermined amount of cash.

There was one employee present; there were no injuries.

Police ask anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the City of Falls Church Police Department at 703-241-5053.
