Falls Church’s Brits on Broad held a charity fundraiser last Friday, as part of FIRSTfriday festivities, for Help for the Children Haiti’s Project Charlier. The project seeks to bring a clinic, school building, orphanage, and needed infrastructure to the Charlier community, which has 100 percent unemployment and is dominated by subsistence living dependent upon local native food sources of fish and fruits. Brits on Broad collected $1,000 for the charitable cause. (Photo: Courtesy Shaun van Steyn)
