Mason Bands to Perform Winter Concert Dec. 5

The George Mason High School bands will perform a winter concert this Thursday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m.

The program will include selections from “The Nutcracker” danced by ballet dancer Kaitlin Kay and performed by select members of the wind ensemble; the jazz ensemble featuring the vocals of Arijeet Sensharma; and the symphonic winds, as well as the wind ensemble and symphonic bands, performing a variety of marches and symphonic band music.

The concert will also include a holiday sing-along.

Also featured in the concert will be the original compositions of student composers Noah Saberhagen, David Rhies, Max Aifer and Nik Hokaj.

Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.

George Mason High School is located at 7124 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church.
