Henderson House Celebrates 100 Years

The Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation is hosting an open house this Sunday, Dec. 8, from 3 – 6 p.m., to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the construction of the historic Henderson House.

The home was built in 1913 by Falls Church civil rights activist Dr. E. B. Henderson and wife Mary Ellen Henderson.

The event will feature a cozy fire, warm cider, punch, and homemade sweets, as well as vintage photographs and family memories.

Visitors are asked to bring a pair of new (or gently used) gloves or mittens to give to the families at Homestretch.

Henderson House is located at 307 S. Maple Ave., Falls Church. For more information, visit tinnerhill.org or call 703-534-4627.
