Mason Starts CyberPatriot Club

The newly formed George Mason High School CyberPatriot Club is gearing up to compete for the first time in the National High School Cyber Defense Competition. The team is coached by computer science teacher William Snyder and mentored by technology industry leader Ryan Walters.

CyberPatriot was created to encourage high school students’ participation in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields. The program teaches cybersecurity and defensive means of fixing vulnerabilities and hardening systems.
