Flute Choir to Play Benefit Concert at Columbia Baptist

The Columbia Flute Choir will play a concert next Friday, Nov. 22, to benefit Brother’s Brother Foundation.

The mission of Brother’s Brother Foundation is to promote international health and education through the distribution and provision of donated medical and educational resources.

The Columbia Flute Choir, directed by Sharyn Byer features all members of the flute family, and presents a variety of classical music as well as original works for flute choirs.

Highlights of previous seasons include performances at The White House and on the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage.

The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Columbia Baptist Church Sanctuary, 103 W. Columbia St., Falls Church. A pie and ice cream reception will follow. For more information, visit brothersbrother.org.
