2 Local Businesses Sending Halloween Candy to U.S. Troops

Two local businesses are collecting Halloween candy to send to U.S. troops overseas. Kool Smiles is encouraging children to donate their candy in exchange for a toy through its second annual Operation Troop Treats program. Candy collected at Kool Smiles, located at 6537 Arlington Boulevard, along with dental care supplies, will be donated to Operation Gratitude. McEnearney Associates is also collecting leftover candy. Donations received at 212A N. West Street in Falls Church will be donated to Treats 4 our Troops.

Candy will be collected through Veterans Day, Monday, November 11.
