Young women from the Falls Church Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently gathered to clean the Falls Church Winter Homeless Shelter. Pictured above, from left to right, are Vivian McKay, Savannah Sudweeks, Liza Allen, and Erika Mendenhall, who cleaned the kitchen, sorted and cleaned cabinets, and restocked dishes for the residents who will begin using the shelter soon. The youth group visits the shelter each year at this time to prepare and clean, and returns in the spring to clean and put items away until the following pre-winter cleaning.
