Info Meeting to be Held on WorldStrides Florida Trip

Casey Carter, parent of a daughter at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School, and WorldStrides are hosting a trip to Florida like the school had planned in years past. An informational meeting will be held next Monday, Oct. 28, at the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St., Falls Church, at 7 p.m. to discuss the trip.

Participants will be departing on June 20 and returning on June 24. Those taking part in the trip will visit turtle hospitals, Everglades National Park, Shark Valley, and Curry Hammock State Park. They will kayak, snorkel, encounter dolphins, and learn to identify fish from coral reefs. All travel, sites, tours, lodging, and meals are all built into the program.

The trip is going to be offered to current Mary Ellen Henderson seventh and eighth graders, but this is not a trip run through Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School.

Those who are unable to attend the meeting but would like more information can contact Carter at Caseygetshermail@gmail.com or email michaeld@worldstrides.org.
