City Offers Frightful Fun for Youngsters at Halloween Carnival Oct. 25

For more than 30 years, the City of Falls Church has been scaring up a fun time at its annual Halloween Carnival. This year’s carnival will take place Friday, Oct. 25, from 6 – 7 p.m. for infants through second-graders and from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. for third- through fifth-graders. The event will take place at the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St. Admission for adults and children younger than 2 years is free; admission is $2 for children ages 2 years and older.

Visitors can take a frightful walk down a Haunted Trail, then shake out the Halloween jitters in the Moon Bounce. They can also enjoy carnival games and craft activities, and Halloween candy and snacks.

A live Creepy Creature Show featuring some of Mother Nature’s spookiest critters will take place twice during the evening, once at 6:30 p.m. and again 7:30 p.m., and is suitable for all ages.

The Halloween Carnival is organized by the Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department. For more information, call 703-248-5178.
