Sunrise of F.C. to Host Screening with Filmmakers

The Sunrise of Falls Church senior community will host Director Christopher Rufo and Producer Keith Ochwat in a screening and Q&A on their film “Age of Champions” next Thursday, Oct. 10, at 6 p.m.

Age of Champions is the story of five competitors who sprint, leap, and swim for gold at the National Senior Olympics. Viewers meet a 100-year-old tennis champion, 86-year-old pole vaulter, and rough-and-tumble basketball grandmothers and watch as they triumph over the limitations of age. But when one character loses a spouse and another is diagnosed with cancer, they’ve got to dig even deeper to make their Olympic dreams come true.

This event is free and open to the public. Sunrise of Falls Church is located at 330 N. Washington St., Falls Church. For more information, call 703-534-2700.
