The City of Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department is sponsoring the 21st annual Farm Day on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Cherry Hill Park, 312 Park Ave., Falls Church.

Visitors can enjoy old-fashioned fun for the whole family, including horse-drawn hayrides, pumpkin painting, corn shelling, blacksmithing, apple butter making, pony rides, and live music. Participants who bring their own pair of pants and a long-sleeved shirt will be able to craft a scarecrow.

Tours of the 1845 Cherry Hill Farmhouse will be offered throughout the day.

Admission is free, but nominal fees apply to some activities.
