Maj. Nathaniel Conkey of Falls Church, captain of the All Army Rugby team, led his team to a gold medal this summer at the Armed Forces Championship.
Conkey is an executive officer for the 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. He has been playing with the rugby team since 2006.
Conkey has also been selected for the All Tournament Team, made of the best rugby players from four armed forces branches.
