2 From GMHS Named Merit Semifinalists

Two students at Falls Church’s George Mason High School were named 2014 National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, it was announced yesterday. Noelle E. Darling and Elinor L. McLain made the list from GMHS, among 16,000 students who achieved the honor nationwide.

Also from Falls Church, home schooler Marisa Migliore and Trinity School’s Peter C. Bayer made the list, along with George Marshall High School’s Annika M. Dirkse, William R. Ferrer, Sophia F. Fleshman, Celia S. Islam, Jonathan G. Leidenheimer, Peter J. Marr and Stephen T. Mills.
