Little City Fro-Yo

Two square miles.

Four frozen yogurt shops.

If those numbers aren’t astounding enough, then consider this: All of these self-serve fro-yo spots opened in The Little City in the past nine months.

Sweet Frog in the Spectrum complex kicked things off last December with its opening, followed by Zinga! in the Falls Plaza Shopping Center and Orange Monkey in West End Plaza in June, offering cool treats just as the summer months were heating up. Last month Tutti Frutti joined the bunch, setting up shop in the former home of Natalia’s Elegant Creations.

With so many to choose from, it’s important to know how these local yogurt shops stack up. The News-Press stopped by each spot to get the scoop, pun intended, on all the players in Falls Church’s sudden frozen yogurt craze.
