There was an unusual sight at the intersection of Hillwood Avenue and South Washington Street in Falls Church Saturday night when a vehicle swerved off the road, hopped a curb and ended up almost perpendicular to the ground after running up the guide wires of a utility pole.

City of F.C. Police say there were no injuries sustained by the four occupants of the vehicle and the driver, a 34-year old woman, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Two wrecker cranes were used to remove the vehicle from the guide wires.
