City of F.C. Seeks School Supplies for Students in Need

The City of Falls Church Housing and Human Services Division is currently holding a school supply drive for students in need. Donations are being accepted through Aug. 23 at the HHS office in City Hall, G Level, 300 Park Ave., during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The 2012 drive assisted about 25 middle and high school students with gift cards to office supply stores, notebooks, pens, backpacks, and other items.

Donations of the following new items will be accepted: gift cards to stores that sell school supplies, donations to the School Family Assistance Program, backpacks, binders, binder/subject dividers, double-pocket folders, spiral notebooks, graph paper notebooks, index cards, Post-It Notes, compasses, protractors, rulers, pens, markers, highlighters, pencil pouches, hand sanitizer, deodorant, and tissues.
